I've been meaning to do this for awhile... Minecraft diamond earrings!
[EDIT] Single sided this time, slightly smaller, and sterling silver earwires! This version is still colored pencil on shrink film, but it is now clear film instead of milky.
And if you've never played Minecraft, SHAME. SHAME ON YOU. You should go do that right now.
While you're here, take a look at my [Diamond Pick Charm] that I made as a coloring test.
damn. i want those, but i think these are not sale to Finland + I don't have any money :<

Screw school! I'm gonna be a Ninja! ~ that's a very nice everything you have there. It'd be a shame if something happened to it... ~ Hey! I'm Elm3ri in minecraft and I have "let's play" thing coming up with my friend! In Finnish, ofc.
I need to learn how to make mine that flat ;~; well my mine are pokeballs D: was trying to make my friend some net ball ears but they curl up everytime ;~; I must be like the most derp if I can't figure it out
BUT anyway I looove the earrings you did a wonderful awesome uber job making them *hi5s*
During shrinking they normally curl up, but then they usually flatten themselves out when fully shrunken. Maybe you aren't leaving them in long enough for them to fully shrink and flatten...?
If they don't flatten out properly after they have fully shrunken, you might be making them too big. Usually I don't have a problem unless the pre-shrunk drawing is over 6 inches long. It gets tricky when they're really big
If none of that helps, when you take them out of the oven they should be (VERY) hot and soft. You will have about 30 seconds in which you can: a. Carefully pull apart the stuck parts b. Squish the charm between two flat, smooth things (something like a smooth counter and a wide spreading knife works pretty well)
If you don't manage to get it flat before it cools and hardens, just pop it back in the oven for a bit to soften it up. Then you can try again. Just be careful not to burn yourself... those charms come out really really hot
