Micro-knitting Necklace by Emoeba Micro-knitting Necklace by Emoeba
For sale on Etsy! [link]

A miniature of a knitting project, 1/12 scale. The piece is about an inch total in length and the beginnings of a knit panel has been very carefully created, by hand, on the miniature needles. In theory, a persistent (or 1/12 scale) person could pick it up and finish a tiny scarf, sweater, teacosy, etc.

This version is on a 15" silver toned rolo necklace chain with a spring ring clasp.

HOLY COW A DD? I did not expect that at all! Thank you =Demoncherry and ^UnicornReality!

Uhh....
I find this really facinating, and I wouldn't mind having one. But wouldn't the tiny needles get lost? Or are they held in somehow?

They are jammed in really tightly, I had to use pliers to push them in. Unless you put actual effort into pulling them out, I really doubt they're going anywhere :XD:

Oh okay :3 Sorry it just didn't look like they were held in by anything much. But that's good to know! :D

Yea, but thinking about it, it did seem like a question someone else would have asked... I really should have looked to see if someone else did. I usually do... lol the one time I don't XD

I have new respect for you. I tried knitting thread on sewing pins. I gave up because it was too frustrating to try to keep the knitting on the pins. I didn't even get one row done. :faint:

It was hard not to drop it, and when I dropped it, the ball rolled away and completely unraveled EVERY SINGLE TIME UGH.

My family probably thought I went mad, I was yelling at blue string.

hahahaha, oh I thought the knitting itself would be the most unnerving! I'd probably just tie it to the ball in the end.
